Being Brunel at the Brunel Institute in Bristol has won the “2019 Permanent Exhibition of the Year Award” at the Museums and Heritage Awards Show, beating National Maritime Museum, Horniman Museum, and the V&A Dundee.
The SS Great Eastern reconstruction was purchased for the new cafe’ space inside this museum.
